Chinese student enrollment at U of I takes hit
For the first time in more than a decade, enrollment is down for Chinese students at the University of Illinois. The downturn comes amid new travel warnings from Chinese officials and a crackdown on U.S. visas. The timing also follows a high-profile Chinese student murder case at U of I, one that that university officials say is not among the causes of the enrollment slump by students from China.
