US may require 5 years of social media checks for visa-free visitors
U.S. Customs and Border Protection is proposing a rule requiring travelers from 42 visa-waiver countries to submit five to 10 years of social media history, email addresses, and phone numbers in order to to enter without a visa. This expands upon social media checks initiated in 2019 for standard visa applicants.
