Make-A-Wish Illinois CEO on making dreams come true

It's Disney's Week of Wishes.

Earlier this week, we introduced you to Benet Academy student EJ Maldonado.

He had a liver transplant at a young kid.

His wish was to draw animation with Disney artists came true at Disney Animation Studios.

Disney and Make-A-Wish are teaming up to bring smiles and confidence to kids.

Sandra Englander had her wish granted back in 2008.

She was the first to spend time on the Dancing with the Stars set.

The Chicago woman calls the experience life-changing.

Disney is the world's largest wish granter.

More than 170,000 wishes have been granted to critically ill children.

Nearly 19,000 of those are in Illinois.

Casey Marsh is the CEO of Make-A-Wish Illinois joined ABC7 to talk about World Wish Month in Chicago and how people can help grant wishes in their communities.
