36th annual African Festival of the Arts kicks off next weekend

CHICAGO (WLS) -- On Labor Day weekend, Chicago will welcome the return of its annual celebration of African culture.

The 36th annual African Festival of the Arts kicks off on Saturday, Sept. 5.

The three-day event will get underway in the historic Washington Park Sunken Garden.
