Pride Parade - Broadway and Halsted
Sunday, the Pride Parade steps off on the North Side. Almost a million people expected to line Broadway and Halsted streets as the city celebrates the LGBTQ community. You can see a replay of that event on ABC-7, Sunday night at 11:30.

Swedish Days - Geneva
How "Swede" it is in north suburban Geneva. Swedish Days is going on all weekend long with a grand parade on Sunday. There's a smorgasbord of food, including meatballs, or are you brave enough to try traditional Swedish lutefisk.
Chicago Bears 5k -Soldier Field
Run with the Bears and bring the kids! The Chicago Bears 5k is Saturday. It's your chance to step onto the field at Soldier Field and there's free beer at the end!

Country Lakeshake music festival- Northerly Island
And Northerly Island has gone country. The 3-day Lakeshake kicks off Friday afternoon at the Huntington Bank Pavilion. Headliners include Blake Shelton, Florida Georgia Line, Dierks Bentley, Locash and Cole Swindell.

World's Largest Block Party - Old St. Pat's
The World's Largest Block Party is back from Friday through Sunday at Old St. Pat's Church.
