Never say this after being fired

If you've ever been fired, no doubt on your next job interview you will be asked the dreaded question, "Why did you leave your last job?" According to Fortune magazine, the one thing you should NOT say is, "It just didn't work out."

Clark Valberg, CEO of InVision, says that phrase can be an "immediate red flag." He goes on to say, "Be thoughtful about how you want to explain your job history. Be prepared to stand up to scrutiny, and know that those of us who are hiring aren't looking for perfect - we're looking for perfecting."
