Holiday Lights: Misch family in Portage

PORTAGE, Ind. (WLS) -- ABC7 visited northwest Indiana for our first holiday lights display of the season.

Thomas Misch says he started working right after Halloween on this display at 3118 Oakwood Street in Portage. It features a 9 and a half-foot wide wreath and a 23-foot-tall tree.

Misch's first display used 240 lights. Now he's up to 7,000 and he just bought 1,300 more.
