'Slide the City' features 1,000-foot water slide in Carpentersville

CARPENTERSVILLE, Ill. (WLS) -- Thousands of people kept cool during the "Slide the City' event in suburban Carpentersville.

The event featured a 1,000-foot water slide.

"Slide the City" water slide will be at Chicago's Montrose Beach next Saturday. Tickets are still available.
