J&D's Foods has announced the launch of Bacon Scented Pillowcases. Yes, the world's first pillowcase that looks and smells like bacon.

From the makers of bacon-scented deodorant, the future of sleep is here, and it smells like cured meat.

The bacon-scented pillowcases use "state-of-the-art printing technology we stole from NASA" to allow the scent of bacon to permeate dreams, the company said. The scent of bacon is embedded in the ink on these specially printed pillowcases, the company news release says.

"We know, Your Mind = Bacon Blown."

If cared for according to the included instructions, the aroma should last for 6-12 months or more.

"It can even endure through multiple wash cycles and excessive sleep-drooling."

The company says your "sweet bacony sleep experience may have the following effects:"

Happier dreams of breakfasts past, rolling around in a pile of bacon or placing the winning hog at the 4-H contest.

Effortless, overnight weight loss by kicking your digestive system into high gear - try not to eat your pillowcase.

Dramatic increases in your intelligence and higher brain functioning because... Bacon.

Easier wake-ups - your mornings will be like being shot out of a bacony cannon.

"Science tells us that better sleep can help you live longer, lower stress and solve the New York Times crossword puzzle without Google. Science also tells us that anything is better wrapped in Bacon (especially your head)," the release says.

Bacon Scented Pillowcases are available at www.BaconMakesTheMan.com for $12.99 + S&H.

The Seattle food company announced products for last year's holiday shopping season as well - bacon-scented deodorant and Sriracha candy canes.

"POWER BACON deodorant is designed specifically for those with active lifestyles - or people who just sweat like pigs.

"Using POWER BACON will probably make everyone drawn to you like you were the most powerful magnet on Earth. And by everyone, we mean friends, acquaintances, beautiful strangers, dogs, bears, swamp alligators, lions and even pigs. It's like an aphrodisiac for your armpits. But use your new power wisely, because with great bacon power comes great baconsibility.

"Do not eat or hike in the woods without a firearm while wearing POWER BACON."

The bacon-scented deodorant is listed under the company's "Get Weird" products section, along with the Sriracha Candy Canes. J&D Foods' staple products also include Baconnaise and Bacon Salt.

Started by Justin and Dave after Dave won $5,000 on "America's Funniest Home Videos" for a home movie showing his son, 3, hitting him in the face with a whiffle ball - the company aims to make "everything taste like bacon." Hence, the inaugural product, Bacon Salt.

"In just 5 days we sold all 6,000 jars of Bacon Salt we had to people in 15 countries and 25 states -- from our website, out of a garage -- without spending a dime on marketing or advertising," the company website says.

J&D's previous Get Weird innovations have included Bacon Lip Balm, bacon-flavored Mmmvelopes and Bacon Shaving Cream.

"We did some really crazy bacon-related events and stunts, like Baconnaise Wrestling (never again) and launching bacon into space (our greatest failure)," J&D's website says.
