Chicago non-profit benefits from night of fun and fashion

CHICAGO (WLS) -- Fashion and design come together in a thrilling night to benefit a local non-profit. Room Seven and Imagine Fashions are helping raise money on July 18th,, 2015 through a special event to help the organization Dress for Success. The event will feature a fashion show, and specialty drinks created by mixologist Mark Daress, who won Best Manhattan in Chicago. Before the big night, Daress, and owner of Room Seven, Mert Hurmeydan, stopped by the ABC 7 studios to show how to make a few signature drinks.

Admission/Ticket Prices: $10, proceeds going to "Dress for Success" (nonprofit that promotes the economic independence of disadvantaged women by providing professional attire and support while job searching)

1/2 oz Sweet Vermouth

1/2 oz Demerara

1/2 oz Cynar

3 dashes of black walnut bitters

3 dashes of orange bitters

Garnish: Orange twist

Served with a Room Seven Energy drink and a side of dehydrated salted beef jerkey

1/2 oz lime juice

3/4 oz jalapeno sage shrub

1 1/2 oz Don Julio

Shake with ice, serve over fresh ice and garnish with a lime wheel
