ATLANTA (WLS) -- Chick-fil-A is adding Frosted Lemonade to its restaurant menus nationwide beginning Monday, a drink which combines their popular lemonade and vanilla Icedream.

The restaurant said they tested the frosted lemonade in Charleston, S.C., Raleigh, N.C., Sacramento, Calif., and northwest Arkansas in the spring of 2014, after discovering customers had been combining the two on their own.

"We always knew customers loved our lemonade, and we always knew they loved Icedream. But we never thought to combine the two to make a completely original treat that isn't a milkshake or even a smoothie," said David Farmer, vice president of menu strategy and development for Chick-fil-A. "Thanks to team members, this recipe will now be a delicious, lower calorie treat that all customers can enjoy anytime."

Frosted lemonade is available as regular or diet.
