Lagunitas cuts ribbon on Chicago brewery

Lagunitas Brewing Company, the popular California-based craft beer company, opens its first Chicago brewery, located at 18th and Rockwell, Tuesday at 11 a.m. A ribbon cutting ceremony will be held at to mark the occasion with a parade and procession to follow.

Last year a huge piece of equipment was moved to the location, blocking traffic. They also held a job fair on the West Side in January.

This is Lagunitas' second brewery in 21 years since the original location built in California.
