Navy Pier announces partnership with Lettuce Entertain You

CHICAGO (WLS) -- Navy Pier announced Monday that it is partnering with Lettuce Entertain You Enterprises to bring two of its popular restaurant concepts, Big Bowl Chinese Express and Frankie's Pizza by the Slice, to the pier.

The two new restaurants will join other well-known concepts and purveyors at Navy Pier's new communal dining area.

Frankie's Pizza by the Slice is an extension of Frankie's 5th Floor Pizzeria on Michigan Ave. Big Bowl Chinese Express opened its first location in Chicago in 1996.

"We are incredibly excited that Big Bowl and Frankie's Pizza are the first to partner with us as we launch an all new food experience at Navy Pier," said Marilynn Gardner, president and CEO of Navy Pier, Inc.

The partnership is part of the first phase of Navy Pier's redevelopment, scheduled to be completed in 2016.
