Hospitals urged to take action against cyber attacks

Hospitals need to take action to prepare for attacks from new hackers and cybercriminals, according to two reports released Wednesday.

One report details the April cyber attack the hacktivist group Anonymous launched against Boston Children's Hospital over a controversial child custody case.

The second editorial looks at the issue in a broader sense, outlining the critical areas of cyber-defense hospitals need to enact now to keep patients' confidentiality, identity and lives safe.
