CHICAGO (WLS) -- Time to put on your poker face. You are invited to the One Step Program's Charity Poker Championship. It benefits Children's Oncology Services, a non-profit organization that helps improve the quality of life of children and adolescents with cancer. Proceeds go towards camp and educational experiences.
The poker tournament will host an estimated 240 players and more than 100 spectators. Players will compete for approximately $15,000 in prizes.
Jeff Infusino, president of Children's Oncology Services, Inc., and Marc Dumas, member of the Children's Oncology Services Poker Committee and resident poker expert, came into to our studio to tell us about the event and to share poker tips.
