Addison Park District hosts WinterFEST

ADDISON, Ill. (WLS) -- Winter can be unpredictable, so an event in the western suburbs is making sure you get to enjoy winter fun, no matter what the weather. The Addison Park District's fourth annual WinterFEST features both indoor and outdoor fun, including horse-drawn wagon rides and a s'mores roasting station, as well as performances by the Westernettes Baton Corp.

Youth and Leisure Supervisor Kelly Sisco created the event. She and Deb Pfaff, marketing and communications supervisor with Addison Park District, joined us live during our news Sunday morning to tell us about all the fun.

General admission to WinterFEST is free, but there is a small fee to play in the bounce houses in the gym. You can also buy concessions.
