GLENCOE, Ill. (WLS) -- Spring is in full bloom at the Chicago Botanic Garden. It's open every day from 8 a.m. until sunset.
The garden hosts several events throughout the year. On April 5, the garden features a brunch and Easter egg hunt. The Chicago Botanic Garden opened more than 40 years ago. In 2014, over one million people visited the Garden's sprawling 385 acres, which include 26 gardens and four nature areas.
Chicago Botanic Garden Horticulturalist Tom Weaver showed us around the gardens live on ABC 7 and also shared how to create your own garden at home.
