WHITNEY, Texas (WLS) -- A 4,000 square foot luxury home is dangling off the edge of a 75-foot cliff in Whitney, Texas. Overlooking the rocky shoreline of Lake Whitney, the house is in peril because a cliff is collapsing beneath the property.

Large chunks of the home's foundation have already fallen into the water below. The house has been condemned, with a small sign in the front yard that reads "Extreme Danger, stay off the premises."

The home's owners followed that advice and moved out about two weeks ago.

Hill County Sheriff's Office Chief Deputy Mark Wilson says another chunk of cliff broke off Tuesday night.
