1 dead, 2 injured in South Side apartment fire

CHICAGO (WLS) -- A 51-year-old man died and two others were injured in a fire on Chicago's South Side Thursday night, police said.

The fire broke out in an apartment complex in the 700-block of E. 69th Street.

The fire department said the fire was contained to one unit. The cause of the fire remains under investigation.
