Egyptian seaports close amid sandstorm
Egyptian officials said Monday most of their seaports are temporarily closed amid a developing sandstorm and wind gusts.

CAIRO (WLS) -- Many of Egypt's seaports, including Alexandria, Sharm El-Sheikh and Ain Sokhna are temporarily closed Monday due to a sandstorm, officials said.

The sandstorm hit Egypt Monday, turning the sky yellow over downtown Cairo, blotting out the sun and limiting visibility. Officials expect it to abate on Tuesday.
