Women create clothing for cancer survivors
This year, two local women are using their own experiences to inspire and give confidence to those still fighting cancer.

CHICAGO (WLS) -- February is National Cancer Prevention Month. This year, two local women are using their own experiences to inspire and give confidence to those still fighting disease.

Their product, known as Bandtastik, is a clothing accessory that can be worn in many ways to cover scars, pumps, pouches, or other visible effects for ongoing or past medical treatment.

The first of their designs, the Bandtastik is made of swimwear fabric and is locally-manufactured. Bandtastik is available in six patterns and in three sizes. Bandtastik can be ordered through the Bwell 11 website; each Bandtastik is $40.

Co-Owners of Bwell 11, Lesley Foreman and Jami Weiman, joined Eyewitness News Weekend Morning to show their stylish Bandtastik.
