Car crashes into garage in Portage Park

CHICAGO (WLS) -- Two people were injured after a car crashed into a garage in Chicago's Portage Park neighborhood.

Police said the vehicle struck the garage near North Laramie and West Cullom avenues just before 6:15 a.m. Wednesday.

The roof of the garage and a brick wall partially collapsed. Debris fell onto a minivan parked next to the garage and onto the ground.

Fire officials said the two people in the car were taken to Community First Medical Center in good condition.
