Authorities raid suburban Lindenhurst home

LINDENHURST, Ill. (WLS) -- The FBI declined comment Saturday about why they raided a north suburban Lindenhurst house Friday night.

Police and federal agents spent several hours inside a home in Lindenhurst, located in the 800-block of Jefferson Drive.

Neighbors said a bomb squad removed a type of device from the home, as well as hard drives and other items.

An FBI spokesperson would only say that their investigation with the Lindenhurst Police Department is ongoing.
