CHICAGO (WLS) --A 37-year-old man who was critically injured in a Bronzeville hit-and-run has died.
Officials say charges are now pending against the driver of the rental truck that crashed into the victim's vehicle.
Chicago police say the crash occurred at 33rd and Indiana around 1:50 p.m. Police say two trucks were involved in the crash, with one occupant in each.
The driver of one truck was traveling eastbound on 33rd Street when he ran a red light, police said. He struck a pickup truck traveling northbound on Indiana. The driver who ran the light then fled the vehicle and was later arrested by Chicago police.
