2 charged with shooting mother, 2 children in Hammond

HAMMOND, Ind. (WLS) -- Charges were filed Wednesday in the shooting of a mother and her two children in Hammond.

All three were shot while sitting in their car early Sunday during an attempted robbery.

Joseph Pleasure, 20, of East Chicago and a 17-year-old from Hammond are charged with attempted murder and attempted robbery.
