Annual Hinsdale pet walk supports homeless animals

HINSDALE, Ill. (WLS) -- Dogs and their owners will be going for a special walk Sunday in Hinsdale for the 28th annual Pet Walk & Run, a fundraiser for the Hinsdale Humane Society. Money raised goes directly to the care of homeless animals.

The dog- and stroller-friendly events starts and ends at the Katherine Legge Memorial Park. ABC7 anchor Judy Hsu will be the emcee for the family festival.

The walk begins at 8 a.m. and the festival is open from 9 a.m. to noon.
