This week's 4-Star Chicagoan is a local woman who realized there was a lack of passion for art in our urban neighborhoods. Kamelia Hristeva started "Green Star Movement" to inspire community members through the creation of public art. Since its founding in 2005 "Green Star Movement" has completed 86 public art projects around Chicago. Students and volunteers are taught to use a type of art called Bricolage to make murals on urban canvases throughout the city. The murals help to revitalize neighborhoods and instill a sense of pride in its communities.
