Wallaby escapes from petting zoo in Northwest Indiana
Something more suitable for the Australian outback is on the loose in Northwest Indiana.

LOWELL, Ind. (WLS) -- Something more suitable for the Australian outback is on the loose in Northwest Indiana.

A wallaby, which is a sort of small kangaroo, seen on video near Lowell.

The Northwest Indiana Times said the wallaby got free from a traveling petting zoo Wednesday morning.

It has been seen hopping around, but no one has been able to catch it.
