5th teen arrested in Lake County sexting investigation

GURNEE, Ill. (WLS) -- A fifth teenager is under arrest in connection with a sexting case at Lake County high schools.

The 14-year-old boy turned himself into police on Tuesday. Police arrested him for distribution of child pornography. The state's attorney has not approved formal charges yet.

The scandal started in north suburban Gurnee at Warren Township High School. A total of five students have been arrested.
