INDEPENDENCE, Mo. -- A pregnant fast food manager was pulled through a Wendy's drive-thru window and attacked, KMBC reports.

Family members say the fight started Sunday afternoon at the Kansas City area restaurant when customers in the drive-thru said they didn't get enough sauce packets and straws with their order.

Witnesses said the fight continued even after these attackers heard this manager was pregnant.

Manager Tori Repine, 19, was working the drive-thru window when a car full of angry customers rolled up.

"They were frustrated because they wanted more sauce, ketchup, blah blah," said Brittney Eidson, Repine's cousin. "It definitely caught everybody off guard."

"It definitely caught everybody off guard," he said. "It looked like they were trying to drag her through the drive-through window. It was an all-out attack."

Family members said Repine - a mother of a 1-year-old and three months pregnant - was attacked by two women and a man. They said it continued even after Repine yelled she was pregnant.

"It went from what could have been a little ha-ha fight to something really serious," the witness said.

"I think it is absolutely absurd. In no way should anyone behave that way, especially knowing that someone is pregnant and saying, 'I don't care,'" said Eidson. "That's just malicious and so heartless."

"The audacity. Who thinks you can yank someone out of a window in the middle of the day over a straw?" the witness said.

The family said Tori doing a bit better. She had some tests done and the baby isn't out of the woods yet, but things are looking good.

Police said the suspects drove a purple Dodge Charger with a purple interior.

The Overland Park, Kan.-based company that owns that Wendy's said in a statement that reads, in part: "We're shocked and saddened over what happened Sunday afternoon at our 40 Highway restaurant... Our thoughts and prayers are with our restaurant team member."
