CHICAGO -- Police have located a teenage girl who went missing from her Lincoln Park home Thursday.

Anna Acevedo, 17, did not return home to the 2700 block of North Southport Avenue after going to the 3900 block of West 26th Street, according to a missing person alert from Chicago Police.

She was found Friday.

The girl had not responded to texts or phone calls, which is "highly out of character for her," police said.
