Armed man attempts Skokie Salvation Army robbery

SKOKIE, Ill. (WLS) -- Skokie Police are looking for a man who may have been wearing a disguise when he tried to rob a Salvation Army store Friday afternoon.

Police say the man may have had on a curly wig and facial hair when he pulled out a gun and tried to rob the store in the 4300-block of Oakton Street.

The man did not get any money and took off running.
