CHICAGO (WLS) -- Over $7.5 million dollars' worth of red light ticket fines won't be refunded to drivers after all.

Last month, Mayor Rahm Emanuel said he would consider refunds, but now says it's not going to happen. Crews have now adjusted cameras for longer yellow light times.

Approximately 77,000 drivers got yellow light change tickets. The city now says the tickets are still legitimate, but the devices are altered to give more time to get through intersections.
