VERNON HILLS, Ill. (WLS) -- On the swim leg of the New York triathalon, former Vernon Hills resident Chris LaPak went into cardiac arrest. By the time he reached the ER, he had been dead 11 minutes. What happened next has been called the "Second Miracle on the Hudson."
