Dwight police offer reward for info on double homicide

The identities of two people shot over the weekend in Dwight, Illinois, have been identified as 60-year-old Donna Denker and 30-year-old Kelli Denker.

DWIGHT, Ill. (WLS) -- The Village of Dwight is asking for the public's help in providing any information on a double homicide that occurred on June 14 in which a mother and daughter were killed. An additional $5,000 donation has been made by the Village Board of Trustees in exchange for information.

On June 14, Dwight Police responded to the 200 block of West North Street in response to reports of a shooting. That shooter left two women dead, Donna Denker, 60, and her daughter Kelli Denker, 30. Kelli's boyfriend was also shot but was recovered.

Dwight Police Chief Tim Henson requests that if anyone has information about this homicide, they call the Grundy County Crimestoppers line at 815-942-9667 or the Dwight Police at 815-584-1975. Callers may remain anonymous and rewards are offered for information which leads to the arrest and filing of criminal charges.
