Gigi Galich, Evanston librarian, fatally struck by motorcycle on way to work

EVANSTON, Ill. (WLS) -- A children's librarian has died two days after being hit by a motorcycle while bicycling to work.

Gigi Galich was a long-time employee of the Evanston Public Library. Coworkers say she was energetic, dedicated and passionate.

She began working at the library as a high school student in 1976.
