CHICAGO (WLS) -- The Guardian Angels handed out flyers Sunday with descriptions of suspects wanted in connection with a strong-arm robbery on the CTA Red Line earlier this month.

A male 21-year-old victim was approached by a man for donations while riding the line between the 47th Street and Garfield stops on the afternoon of Dec. 7, police said. When the victim gave $5, police say he was harassed for more money.

The offender then allegedly began battering the victim and stole his iPod as three additional offenders allegedly joined in before fleeing at the 55th Street stop, police said.

The offenders are described as black males between the ages of 17-20, police said. The Guardian Angels hope the fliers will help someone come forward with information on the suspects.
