CHICAGO (WLS) -- Johnny Reese, 23, has been charged in the murder of Summer Moore, a mother of three who was shot and killed in Morgan Park on Mother's Day weekend.

Moore, 37, was shot in the chest 11400-block of South Aberdeen Street around 7:50 p.m. on May 9. She was at a family party to celebrate a teen relative going to the prom at the time of the shooting. Police said Moore was not the intended target.

Reese, of the 11400-block of South Union Avenue, has been charged with first degree murder. He is accused of driving an SUV involved in the shooting, but police said he is not the shooter.

Authorities are questioning a second suspect. Reese is due in bond court on Monday.
