Man, 29, fatally shot on Near West Side

CHICAGO (WLS) -- A 29-year-old man was found shot in the back Monday afternoon inside an apartment on the city's Near West Side, police said.

Officers found the man around 12:44 p.m. Monday with multiple gunshot wounds to his back 2400-block of West Harrison.

The victim was taken to Stroger Hospital, where he was pronounced dead.

Police said they are investigating the shooting.
