Man found fatally shot in Gary alley, police say

GARY, Ind. (WLS) -- Police in Gary are searching for information after a man was found shot in an alley, officials said.

A citizen reported that the unresponsive man was lying in the 300-block of Harrison Street around 8:38 p.m. Wednesday, police said.

The victim, who has not been identified, later passed away as a result of injuries from gunshot wounds, police said.
