CHICAGO (WLS) -- Metra trains were delayed on three lines Wednesday evening due to a rail yard derailment.

Metra officials said the Union Pacific North, Northwest and West Lines were running 15 - 25 minutes behind schedule after a train derailed in the Union Pacific California rail yard.

Trains were able to pass through the rail yard, but at a slower speed than usual.

A derailment at a Metra railyard caused delays for commuters at Ogilvie Station on Wednesday evening.
