OAKWOOD HILLS, Ill. (WLS) -- The village hall in northwest suburban Oakwood Hills will re-open next week after being closed for nearly a month because of threats made at a zoning board hearing.

Police say during a recent public meeting board members received threats concerning the construction of a proposed power plant that were taken seriously. Some protesters were escorted out of the building.

The facility would be located near the village hall and a school.
