Boy, 16, dies after being found shot at Grant Skate Park in South Loop, Chicago police say

CHICAGO (WLS) -- A 16-year-old boy died after he was found shot at the Grant Skate Park in the South Loop Wednesday night, Chicago police said.
The incident occurred at about 9:05 p.m. in the 1100-block of South Michigan Avenue.

Police said the teen was shot in the neck and transported to Northwestern Memorial Hospital, where he was later pronounced dead.
Area Three detectives are investigating the circumstances of the shooting.
