VALPARAISO, Ind. (WLS) -- Police said they arrested 45 people at a large underage drinking party in Valparaiso early Saturday morning.

Police said they responded to a report of a loud party in the 1100-block of Lind Lane around 12:30 a.m., where they found minors drinking alcohol in and around the house, but were denied entry to the house by the renters.

After obtaining a search warrant, police said they found over 100 people hiding inside the house, including the attic.

Police arrested a total of 45 people, including the two renters of the home and 43 others who were charged with minor consumption of an alcoholic beverage. Devan Gadson, 21, and Thomas Ehrlich, 22, were charged with furnishing alcoholic beverages to a minor and contributing to the delinquency of a minor. Police said they took 43 individuals to Porter County Jail.

Police said numerous individuals inside the house who were over 21 or tested negative for alcohol were released at the scene.
