CHICAGO (WLS) -- A 23-year-old female was sexually abused by a man on a crowded southbound CTA Red Line train on the city's North Side, police said.

The offender allegedly made inappropriate contact with the victim around 8:30 a.m. Wednesday in between the Clybourn and Chicago stops, police said. The offender is described as a 6-foot-tall white male with blonde or light brown hair.

The Guardian Angels say they will be passing out flyers at the Chicago Red Line stop on Thursday morning.

Anyone with information is encouraged to contact Chicago police.
