HOFFMAN ESTATES, Ill. (WLS) -- A man passed a note to a bank teller before robbing the Hoffman Estates Community Bank on Monday morning, police said.
Police said the suspect entered the bank in the 2200-block of W. Higgins Road just before 9 a.m. and passed a note to the teller. The teller complied and the suspect fled northbound on foot with an undisclosed amount of cash.
The male suspect is described by police as 6-foot-4 with a thin build, and was last seen wearing a grey hooded sweatshirt. Nobody was hurt and no weapon was displayed, police said.
Hoffman Estates police and the FBI are investigating.
