Timothy Jones sentenced to 28 years in prison

CHICAGO (WLS) -- A judge has sentenced Timothy Jones to 28 years in prison.

Jones was convicted of murder in the death of Jacqueline Reynolds. She died when her car was hit by a Chicago police SUV that was chasing Jones.

Before the judge handed out the sentence, Jones took the witness stand and apologized to Reynolds' family.
