Alligator found on doorstep of Texas school

KATY, TX -- An alligator was spotted hanging out at Beck Junior High School in Katy Wednesday morning.

Authorities were called around 7:20am to the school on South Fry Road near Mason. Texas Wildlife Park officials are on the scene trying to round up the gator.

Teachers are on campus preparing for the first day of school.

Alligator sightings are not unusual in southeast Texas.
