VIDEO: Rat refuses to leave Lincoln Park clinic

CHICAGO (WLS) -- It was a battle of wits between a broom-wielding human and one very brave rat who tried to gain entry to a Lincoln Park urgent care center.

In a video obtained by DNAinfo, the insistent rat is seen being pushed out of the door by a clinic technician. Despite multiple swipes at the rat, it held onto the broom and re-gained entry to the indoor vestibule multiple times before finally being defeated.

The technician told DNAinfo that the rat was never in the actual clinic, just inside the vestibule.
