CHICAGO (WLS) -- A Chicago girl who has type I diabetes and seizures just wants her friend back after her service dog was apparently stolen.

Symphany has been trained to help alert 10-year-old NeVaeh Perry's mom if the girl is having medical problems.

"She means a lot to me and if you got her, can I ask a question, why can't you get the money and buy your own stuff," said NeVaeh.

The dog was last seen wearing a spiked pink collar in the family's yard near 80th and Escanaba.
